A service contract is a promise to perform (or pay for) certain repairs or services. You may be thinking...this sounds like an extended warranty, what is the difference? The difference between an extended warranty and a vehicle service contract is the separate and additional cost. A service contract may be arranged at any time and always costs extra; a warranty comes with a new car and is included in the original price.

Anyone who tells you that they can provide, FREE OF COST TO YOU, great warranty coverage for a long period of time is lying! They are either CHARGING you for the warranty in the PRICE OF THEIR VEHICLE, or the warranty is NOT worth the paper it is WRITTEN ON!
